Review :
the BEST!
I love this book. It is hands-down the best book for midwifery students out there and a must-have for clinicals. It has a great breakdown of what the problem is, what do to about it, and medical and herbal options for treatment. Love it.

Helpful for clinicals
I'm in midwifery clinicals right now, and the book I keep turning to again and again for helpful, applicable information is this one. Look up a given diagnosis or situation and the book will give you the full run-down on how to assess and treat, etc. Now, it doesn't cover everything under the sun, but does contain all of the problems you'll see over and over again.

Excellent
A stellar book for utilizing well researched practice guidelines. Very helpful, highly recommended, and worth the price for the content.

Needs revising
Required for nursing school. After reading 6 chapters (15 to go), there are quite a few errors, a textbook should have a none to very few. The setup is also not appropriate such as the intro and pathophys is the same paragraph. Followed by management. then RN assessment and RN management which is the same as management. Disorganized for a longer book I suppose. Wouldn't recommend it if it wasn't required.

Great OB book, highly suggested!
This is an awesome book. Easy read and contains all of the information you will need to be successful in your OB course. There a few discrepancies but with a little fixing up this book would be perfect. I've never read a book as much as I read this one.

So. Many. Grammatical errors. I find it ...
So. Many. Grammatical errors. I find it hard to take seriously and appreciate spending so much money on a textbook with so many errors. If you have to use this book for class, I'm sorry. Maybe you aren't the stickler of grammatical accuracy as am I. I'm thankful to have had an instructor that relied more on her PowerPoint slides than the text.
